Objective
iVillage is one of the first and one of the largest online communities and Ford Motor Company wanted to use the internet to promote Ford products to iVillage members. Both benefited from the creation of this co-branded area on the iVillage.com. Ford was able to gain credibility through its association with iVillage, and iVillage was able to provide the Ford content created for its members.

• Created the "Women's Auto Center", an area that was branded to both iVillage and Ford with content areas that were of special interest to the iVillage members
Key Results:
• iVillage.com was an integral part of the launch of the Ford Focus
• Ford integrated many of the suggestions made by iVillage.com members into a special "myVillager" model of its minivan for a national auto show held in Las Vegas.
• The site grew to well over 100 pages as Ford became one of iVillage's primary sponsors. |
